SARGVISION launches AtithiVani, a guest assistant for hotels and homestays in Darjeeling and Sikkim

AtithiVani is a guest assistant for hotels and homestays in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong and the Dooars. Guests use it on their phone in Bengali, Hindi or English, and can also chat in Nepali. A couple of hours after checkout, it phones each guest who agreed, on the property’s behalf, to ask how the stay went. It is made by SARGVISION Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. and launched on 25 September 2026 at atithivani.com.
The name. AtithiVani is one word — Bengali অতিথিবাণী, Hindi and Nepali अतिथिवाणी — from atithi (guest) and vani (voice): “the guest’s voice”. It is also written Atithi Vani, and said Otithi-bani in Bengal. It is not connected with other hotels, apps or services that use the word “Atithi”.
What it does for a guest
- Answers in the guest’s own language, in their phone’s browser — nothing to install.
- General guidance on Sikkim permits, from a rulebook maintained by hand; the desk or a registered operator confirms.
- Road answers that change the moment the property’s staff or drivers report NH10 closed.
- Front-desk requests — housekeeping, a late checkout, an airport pickup — sent straight to the property.
What it does for the property
- Every request made through it lands in one queue.
- A call after checkout to each guest who agrees, with a recording notice at the start.
- Comps and refunds wait for the property’s approval; nothing is paid out without it.
- Records are stored in Mumbai, on Google Cloud.
It does not yet connect to a property management system or booking engine.
